He is famous thanks to his colorful pieces, such as the series of images of Marilyn Monroe, as well as his paintings of Campbell's soup, sold all over the world.

1945 Andy Warhol studied at the Carnegie Institute of Technology in Pittsburth, where he discovered publicity.

1949 Before being able of selling her first master pieces, Andy worked as a publicity designer in New York.

1955 He worked for Glamour Magazine, Dance Magazine ant the New York Times.

1961 Warhol directed his first film.

1962 Andy Warhol made his first exhibition at the Ferus Gallery in Los Angeles, where he presented his Campbell soup pieces.

1966 He directed his film The Chelsea Girls, a vouyeurist film about the events that take place inside hotel rooms.

1971 Premier of his film Trash

1973 Andy Warhol directed the film L'Amour. He also presented his magazine Interview.

1974 Andy collaborated with Paul Morrisey for the direction of his films Frankestein et Dracula.

1987 Andy Warhol died after surgery, he was only 59 years old.

1990 The retrospective exposition of Andy Warhol at the Pompidou Center in Paris received more than 300,000 visitors.

1994 Opening of the Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh.
