Hanne Hedelund - Biography

Born 20 June 1957
Hanne trained as an actor at Skuespillerskolen v/Odense Teater 1984-1987.

Previously she worked as a fulltime actor at the Odense theatre; productions include Skønhedsdronningen fra Leenan, Aske til Aske, Peter Pa n – Odense Teater. Mod til at dræbe (Det Danske Teater). Tante Dan & Lemon (Café Teatret). Forbrændt (Husets Teater).

In recent years she has been a freelance actor working mainly in musical theatre: OIM (Odense Internationale Musikteater), where she worked in the Reumert-nominated productions of Her stå r du du and Heaven and in the Reumert-winning productions Lulu and The Citizen. Most recently she took part in the critically acclaimed production Memory.

In addition, Hanne Hedelund has appeared in the TV series Bryggeren, Rejseholdet (Unit One) and Ørnen (The Eagle), the feature film Forbudt for Børn (1998) and Kunsten at græde i kor (The Art of Crying) (2006).
