2003 Jamie Lee Curtis received a Grammy nomination in the Best Spoken Album for Children category for her recording of the children's books she has written.

2004 She told a German magazine that she will retire from making movies and that Christmas with the Kranks (2004) will be her last work as an actress.

2005 Jamie Lee Curtis has vowed to ditch all of her credit cards as part of a New Year resolution. She cut up her plastic from the start of 2005 and said she would live a tighter budget for 12 months.
