Actress, Producer and Casting Director.
Writer/ Producer/ Director and let’s not forget. Actress, Jade Jenise Dixon wears many hats. Her first project as both the filmmaker and one of the stars, TRUTH HALL (www.truthhallthemovie.com) made a splash at major film festivals including the International Black Film Festival of Nashville (IBFFN), American Black Film Festival (ABFF) and the San Diego Black Film Festival (SDBFF) to name a few.The film won awards such as “Best Feature” (IBFFN), Best Soundtrack (QBCIFF), “Audience Choice Award (IBFFN), and “Best Dramady” (SDBFF). Ms. Dixon herself was nominated for “Best Director (Pan African Film Festival).
The film was distributed by Image Entertainment as well as TV networks such as BET, Centric and Bounce TV. The BET Network debuted TRUTH HALL as a “World Premiere” complete with heavy marketing and promotions. The network has since aired the film in heavy rotation. Currently TRUTH HALL is in heavy rotation on the Bounce TV Network.
Recently, Ms. Dixon completed principal photography on the pilot for a TV series based on the film. With a full pilot in the can and a strong following from the film, Jade is now pitching the project to networks.
Additional, Jade has penned her latest feature film script and is gearing up to go into production in the coming months.
