The dream of Nick Nolte was to be become a professional football player, but he changed his mind when he started his career in theater in Minneapolis. He started working as a model for print ads at the Eleanor Moore Agency.

After completing his elementary school in Kingsley School in Iowa, Nolte attended Westside High School in Omaha, Nebraska.

1962 Nick Nolte sold some fake draft cards and was given five years of probation.

1978 After dating Karen Ecklund for five years, she sued Nick Nolte for community property
