South African artist and animator best known for a sequence of hand-drawn animated films he produced between 1989 and 2003. Much of his artistic output has touched upon the socio-political conditions of Apartheid-era South Africa, as well as the concepts of time and change. His animated work was featured at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.
