Richard Griffiths will soon be seen in Nicholas Hytner’s film version of “The History Boys”, produced by VENUS’ Kevin Loader, in which he reprises his Tony and Olivier Award-winning role, Hector.

His feature film credits include Sir Richard Attenborough’s “Gandhi” (1982); Richard Eyre’s “Stage Beauty” (2004); “Harry Potter” I, II & III; Roland Joffé’s “Vatel” (2000); Tim Burton’s “Sleepy Hollow” (1999); Hugh Wilson’s “Guarding Tess” (1994); Richard Lester’s “Superman II” (1980); Lindsay Anderson’s “Britannia Hospital” (1982); Peter Chelsom’s “Funny Bones” (1995); Mark Herman’s “Blame It On The Bellboy” (1992); David Zucker’s “Naked Gun 2” (1991); David S. He recently appeared in the West End production of ”Heroes” co-starring Ken Stott and John Hurt.
