Viggo Mortensen’s first appearance in the big screen was in the film Peter Weir’s Witness, where he played the role of a farmer.

1987 He married his co-star of the film Salvation, Erene Cervenka, and they had a son, Henry.

1993 One of Viggo’s most important films is Carlito’s Way, directed by Brian de Palma

1996 Jane Campion offered him a role in his film The Portrait of a Lady, Viggo performed amazingly.

1997 He divorced Exene Cervenca.

1998 Being a painter, he painted the murals of his artist’s studio in the film A Perfect Murder.
