Their father was a businessman, and his mother a painter

Larry studied in the Bard College and Andy in the Emerson College, but both left the school to continue their heart and to be dedicated al world of the spectacle before work in the movies, they worked as a carpenters and carrying out animated drawings.

His wife was Thea Bloom, a girl that he met at college and they got married in 1993.

He left Bloom in 2002 for Karin Winslow, who was also married and left her husband to live with Larry

1991 Andy married Smoothes Blasingame. His production company is Eon Entertainment

1995 they Debuted in Hollywood with the movie "Assassins" with Sylvester Stallone and Antonio Banderas.

1996 they Carried out "Bound" with Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon.

1999 Premiere of the first part of the trilogy "Matrix".

2003 Premiere of Matrix Reloaded

The Wachowski brothers included in their contracts for the Matrix sequels that they would not have to do press junkets or interviews of any kind and they would not have to be photographed for promotional purposes.

2005 Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers are working on the action thriller "V For Vendetta" for Silver Pictures and Warner Brothers Pictures. V For Vendetta is set in the future of a totalitarian Britain, where a young woman who becomes the unlikely ally of a mysterious revolutionary.
The film is based on the graphic novel "V For Vendetta" by author Alan Moore.

James McTeigue will direct the project with Andy Wachowski and Larry Wachowski acting as producers.
