1984 Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu started his career working as DJ in the radio station WFM

1986 Alejandro studied film making.

1990 He was in charge of the publicitary production of Televisa, Mexico’s most important tv company.

1991 Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu created his own film company: Zeta Films.

1992 He studied film direction in the United States.

1995 He directed a short film for Televisa, starring Miguel Bose.

1997 He received an award thanks to the publicity of WFM.

2000 Huge succes of his film, “Amores perros“, this movie has received several international awards, such as the award of the best film given by the Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival, and it was nominated to win an Oscar award.

2002 Alejandro Gonzalez Iñarritu participated with Wim Wenders and Ken Loach in the making or a film project about the reality of the events of the World Trade Center in New York, 11’09”01

2003 In Hollywood, Alejandro directed his second film, 21 grams, starring Sean PennBenicio del Toro and Charlotte Gainsbourg. thanks to this movie, Penn received the best actor’s award at the Film Festival of Venice.

2004 The film 21 grams (21 gramos) directed by Alejandro Gonzalez was a great succes in Paris France, with more than 1 885 sold tickets in it’s first week.

2010 His film Biutiful is in competition at the Cannes Festival.
