Bill Moseley Biography

AlthoughBill Moseley did not appear in the original film, he does have a pedigree with the Texas Chainsaw family.  Moseley appeared as ‘Chop Top,’ the larger than life, and sicker than sick brother of Drayton Sawyer in Tobe Hooper’s sequel, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2. 

     Born in Connecticut and armed with a degree in English from Yale University, Moseley relocated to New York City, and became a freelance writer for such prestigious periodicals as Omni, National Lampoon, Rolling Stone, Interview and Psychology Today.  Moseley wrote, funded and acted in a parody of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, which eventually landed in the hands of director Tobe Hooper who promised Moseley a role in the proposed sequel.  Since that time, Moseley has leant his unique charms to films such as The Blob, Pink Cadillac, Silent Night, Deadly Night 3, Tom Savini’s remake of Night of the Living Dead, Army of Darkness, House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects, The Devil’s Tomb, Grindhouse, Rob Zombie’s Halloween and the HBO series Carnivale, among many others.

     Also featured in the cast are Richard Riehle (Office Space, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas), RITCHIE MONTGOMERY (Jayne Mansfield’s Car, Playing the Field), DODIE BROWN (Butter, The Mist), SUE ROCK (Spilt Milk, Suicide Notes) and DAVID BORN (Friday Night Lights, Temple Grandin).
