Leonardo DiCaprio made several castings since he was very young. When he was 16, he acted in T.V. series such as "Lassie" and "Roseanne", and also 24 episodes of "Growing Pains".

1991 He luckily got a part in the film Critters 3.

1993 His first important role in the film This Boy's Life, where he acted with Robert De Niro.

1997 Leonardo DiCaprio became an international idol thanks to his performance in the film Titanic, directed by James Cameron.

2004 Leonardo Dicaprio played the role of "Howard Hughes" an american millionaire, who was also a pioneer of aviation, in Martin Scorsese ' "The Aviator".

2005 Leonardo Di Caprio received in Paris the title of officier dans l'Ordre national de la Légion d'Honneur, that was given to him by  Renaud Donnedieu de Vabres the education minister, representing the French Government.

January: Leonardo Dicaprio received the Golden Globe to the best actor, for his role in the film "The Aviator", directed by Martin Scorsese and a nomination to the Actor's Oscar.
