Russell Ira Crowe Actor, director Birth date: April 7, 1964 Russell's family moved to Australia when he was
4 years old. 1970 He debuted on television at the age of 6 in "Spyforce",
followed by several movies as, The Crossing, Proof and Romper
Stomper. 1994 He acted in The Sum of Us. 1997 He became famous
thanks to his role in L.A. Confidential, directed by Curtis Hanson. This was
his third film. 2000 Russell Crowe received an Oscar by its
interpretation in Gladiator of 2002 He was nominated to
the best performance at the British Academy Film Awards on Monday January
28th 2002 for his role in A Beautiful Mind 2005 Russell Crowe will work
with his friend Nicole Kidman Fox next film 2006
