Steve Squillante Producer/line producer/writer Steven Squillante has worked on a wide array of studio and independent films. For IM Global, he is currently in production on Catherine Hardwicke’s Plush; in prep on Daniel Stamm’s Angry Little God; and in post-production on Niels Arden Oplev’s Dead Man Down, starring Colin Farrell and Noomi Rapace; Stephen Knight’s Hummingbird, starring Jason Statham; Found Footage, from Marlon Wayans, starring Wayans and Cedric the Entertainer, and Walter Hill’s Bullet to the Head starring Sylvester Stallone and produced by Joel Silver.

In the last several years Squillante served as an independent producer and was Production Supervisor in Thailand on The Hangover 2 for Warner Bros Pictures, Legendary Pictures, and Green Hat Films, and consulted for QED International, Grindstone Entertainment (owned by Lionsgate Entertainment), Arclight Films, Taewon Entertainment, Platinum Studios, IDG Films/Asia Fund, XME (Xinhua Media Entertainment), Leeding Media, and Radium/Reel FX Entertainment.

Squillante began his career by working his way up in just 16 months from intern, to Harvey Weinstein’s assistant, to Director of Development and Production at Miramax/Dimension Films, on the team overseeing a slate of 12 films including  genre franchise breakout successes Scream 2 and 3, Scary Movie 1 and 2, and  Spy Kids 1 and 2).  Subsequently, Weinstein signed Squillante to a two-year producing deal on projects including Shanghai and Nine. Squillante also oversaw the $285 million Asia Fund dedicated to funding film properties to be shot in Asia.

In addition to the U.S., Squillante has lived and worked in Canada, Western and Eastern Europe, Asia, and Africa. Squillante received his B.A. in History from Northeastern University in Boston, and studied at the Graduate level at Harvard University and Emerson College.
